Inadvertent errors such as spelling or typing mistakes may be corrected for clarity (so please report them if you see those), but the details MUST remain as submitted unless the submitter him/herself asks for the correction.

What this means is that viewers should try to contact the submitter when they believe there is an error. If the submitter doesn't wish to make the correction or cannot be reached, ANOTHER family group sheet should be submitted showing what the new submitter believes is the correct information.

We realize that this may mean duplication, but the Project MUST honor the rights of the submitter to his submission(s). The Project can only alter appearance and/or correct spelling or typing errors as part of their effort to distribute submitters' information.
